How do I set up my MyBVC account?

Answer

If you are a new student, the link to set up your myBVC account and password was sent to the personal email address you provided during the registration process. If you are not able to find the email, you can also use the Password Reset page to set up your password for the first time. 

When you are setting up your myBVC account, you will also need to set up Multifactor Authentication to protect your account. For more information about Multifactor Authentication check out our FAQ.

Whenever you need to log in at BVC, use your full myBVC email address (ie: a.student123@mybvc.ca) and the password you set up for your myBVC account.


Changing your password

If you forget your password, you can request a password change from the Password Reset page. If you reset your myBVC password, you will need to log in to all BVC services again - including WiFi.

  1. Enter your Student ID and your birth date on the form. 

  2. Check your personal email (the email you used to register at Bow Valley College) for more instructions, including the link to reset your password.

You can also contact the BVC Service Desk in person (3rd floor, North Campus), or call 403-410-1611 to request a password reset. Service Desk staff will ask questions to verify your identity.
