Refer students to this link or to click on the "Forgot my Password" link on the myBVC login page. Encourage them to complete the reset password process themselves or with the help of a PTA. Note, they will need to know the personal email address they used to sign up initially. This can be verified for them in Alma or MyBVC admin.

1. Verify the student's identity with a government-issued id. Go to: https://admin.mybvc.ca/

• If the student has locked themselves out of their account, use "unlock account"
• If the student can no longer access the personal email account they used to sign up, use "get url" to be taken to a screen where the student's password can be reset. Let the student use your keyboard to set a new password. Please do not set passwords for students unless it is absolutely necessary. Let the student know that they need to update their personal information with the Registrar's Office.
