1. Check that you have everything you need. You will usually need:
   1. Receipt from the bookstore with the PIN
   2. Link to the textbook from your instructor. Check your D2L for the link to your access your text.
2. Go to the Brytewave website at: https://brytewave.redshelf.com/ 
   1. Log in or create a new Brytewave account. You can choose to use whichever email address and password you want.
3. Check your Bookstore receipt for the PIN code to redeem your book. Type this in to the Brytewave website.
4. You will see a picture of your electronic text added to your virtual bookshelf. Click on the textbook once to get another access code. Keep this window open or copy this code to save it.
5. Open a new browser window and go to the link you received from your instructor. This will usually take you to the publisher's website.
   1. Log in or create a new account with the publisher. Use your myBVC email or the information your instructor provided to create your account.
6. When you are asked for the access code - paste in the code that you got from your Brytewave bookshelf.

You should now have access to your book for the duration of the semester.
