How do I search the Health Source Nursing/Academic edition database?

Answer

College assignments usually specify the type of resource that is acceptable to cite and reference. For example, your instructor might request that you cite and reference: "peer-reviewed publications published in the last 5 years".

With Health Source Nursing/Academic edition you can refine results to limit your search.

You can filter by:

  • Publication date
  • Source Type
    • Filter by 'Academic Journals' to limit the search to academic articles

There are two main options to read the full text of an article: PDF Full Text or HTML Full Text.

From the results page, click on the title of an article to see the details of the full record.

  • Look at the subject terms / author supplied keywords to see suggestions for keywords that can be used for future searching.

There are tools on the right to:

  • Save to Google Drive
  • Print
  • E-mail
  • Cite
  • Create a permalink
