How do I search the CINAHL Plus with Full Text database?

Answer

College assignments usually specify the type of resource that is acceptable to cite and reference. For example, your instructor might request that you cite and reference: "peer-reviewed publications published in the last 5 years".

With CINAHL Plus with Full Text you can refine results to limit your search.

You can filter by:

  • Publication date
  • Source Type
    • Select 'Academic Journals' to limit to academic articles

There are two main options to read the full text of an article: PDF Full Text or HTML Full Text.

From the results page, click on the title of an article to see the details of the full record.

  • Look at the subject terms / author supplied keywords to see suggestions for keywords that can be used for future searching.

There are tools on the right to:

  • Save to Google Drive
  • Print
  • E-mail
  • Cite
  • Create a permalink
