Q. If a book has more than one city listed for the publisher, which city do I use in the reference?

Answer

The 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the APA says "if two or more publisher locations are given in the book, give the location listed first, or, if specified, the location of the publisher's home office" (p. 187).

For the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the APA, you do not have to list the location of the publisher (see this reference example).
